Not sure if anybody other than next door and some chap who runs the Islay blog actually see this blog, however....
To undertake the 2008 Ultramarathon Challenge for H4H will actually cost approx £1700.
I am looking for logistical sponsorship (kind of in the same way that Sir Ranulph Fiennes never actually paid for any of his expeditions, he concentrated on the fundraising and the actual "doing" bit). Sir Ran has got lots of friends in high places to cover his costs. I have a few friends in a few moderate elevations.
I can offer publicity, and for the lucky logo or branding, a place on a very sweaty running top, pride of place on the back of a running pack through France, Italy and Switzerland, and 6 days fending off midges off the West coast of Scotland.
Oh, and the warm feeling inside that comes from sponsoring a damn fine effort in aid of a bloody fine charity.
